Meka Nism is returning to the House of Blues in Orlando, Florida, on Friday, September 20th, with their friends in Noself, Nevertel, and Felicity. MEKA NISM TO HEADLINE SECOND STAGE AT METAL IN THE MOUNTAINS FESTIVAL 2019

Meka Nism has officially announced that they will be headlining the second main stage at the 2019 Metal in the Mountains Festival in Pipestem, West Virginia, on June 1st. Other headliners for June 1st include, All that Remains, Flaw, Unearth, and Chelsea Grin the night before on Friday. MEKA NISM ANNOUNCE 2019 WINTER TOUR

Meka Nism has officially announced a small winter tour up to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, as they will be headlining the Millenium Music Conference and Showcase on February 22nd at the Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center. The Tour kicks off on Thursday, February 21st at the HMAC in downtown Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and concludes on Saturday, February 23rd in Sparrow's Point, Maryland, close to Baltimore.

Meka Nism Debut New Music Video for "Black Sky" on Metal-Rules.com

Meka Nism have unleashed their new music video for the single "Black Sky". Meka Nism have unleashed their new music video for the single "Trailblazer". The long awaited release of Meka Nism's new EP "The War Inside" is Now Available Worldwide.

THE WAR INSIDE IS UPON US...MEKA NISM SET TO RELEASE EP!

The band is set to release their New EP, The War Inside, on Thursday May 10th with Pre-Orders starting on April 1st. 

The EP will be available on a Limited Edition 180g opaque purple vinyl, physical CD, and on all of the major music platforms that music is available. All pre-orders and pre-order bundles will be shipped out by May 9th in time for the official release on the 10th.

MEKA NISM UNLEASH NEW LOGO & ALBUM ART FOR NEW EP "THE WAR INSIDE"

Meka Nism has debuted their NEW Logo and Album Art for the Upcoming EP, "The War Inside". The album art consists of imagery portraying the "duality" of life, people, certain situations, and the internal struggle that a lot have to deal with, which is the overall concept of the new EP. 

"There is a lot going on inside the image, I see something different every time I look at it! The actual war inside can mean a lot of different things, and we wanted to leave some of it up to people's interpretations and allow them to relate to it in their own personal ways..." - says Meka Nism Guitarist, Bobby Keller.

There will be a lot more updates soon, as the band is scheduled to shoot a music video for the single, "The War Inside" in Orlando, Florida, on January 13th and 14th.

MEKA NISM PREPARING FOR GERMANY & CO-HEADLINING FESTIVAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Meka Nism is preparing to head to Germany on September 1st to record the new EP, "The War Inside", with Lasse Lammert. Time is flying by, but the band is very excited and they are currently finishing up demos as we speak! The band is also very excited to announce that they will be co-headlining the Breeding Festival in Flensburg, Germany, on September 8th. 

"This is very exciting for us. Not only are we recording with such an amazing producer [Lasse Lammert], but we are performing at a German Festival! It's the first time for us on foreign soil and we can't wait to melt some faces and hopefully gain some fans across the pond," - says Meka Nism lead guitarist, Bobby Keller.

The band has lowered it's Go Fund Me Campaign to focus on the costs at hand in order to record the new ep. New rewards have been posted, including Meka Nism's bassist Jarret Robionson's bass. Meka Nism Announce Title for New EP and Go Fund Me Campaign to Help Fund It

Meka Nism is proud to announce the title of their new EP scheduled to be released later this year. The name of the EP will be "The War Inside" and the band is very anxious in getting their new EP out to the masses. Which leads us to the next topic, they need your help! Having toured with the likes of Avatar, Trapt, Otep, and more, the level of inspiration is at an all time high. None the less, the band has had some major opportunities come their way. Being named the #1 Metal Band by Orlando Weekly for 2016 and having their previous EP, "The Shift", rank on top album lists across the country is just the tip of the iceberg. 

So, the campaign, what is it for you ask?
Meka Nism has been working very hard and taken some time to write and develop their new songs in order to out-do their last one. The band has an incredible opportunity to record "The War Inside", which they consider to be very special and unique, across the pond in Lubeck, Germany, with world renowned producer and engineer, Lasse Lammert. Every penny raised is going to be used in the recording, production, and press of the EP. 

When does the Band Need the Funds?
As soon as possible! The campaign is going to remain open so if a donation can't be made right away, it can be done later. The goal is to have the full amount by summertime of 2017. That will guarantee that everything that needs to be taken care of will be, and rewards can be planned accordingly for everyone that donates! 

One thing about Meka Nism is that they love their fans and cherish each and every one with all their hearts. Bottom line, without their fans, friends, and family members, they couldn't do what they do. Recording "The War Inside" is going to be a huge step in Meka Nism's career and the band will be forever grateful to each and every person that helps make this the EP that does it! "MAD TO LOVE" CELEBRATING 10 YEARS!

For all of you who don't know, Ms. Meka, lead vocalist for Meka Nism, wrote an album back in 2006/2007 called Mad to Love, under the previous name Meka Nism and Her Rusty Tears . This album was the beginning of Meka Nism as a band and was Meka's debut as a solo artist in the Orlando, Florida, area. Mad to Love is celebrating it's 10 Year Anniversary and the band has decided to re-release it. Mad to Love is going to be Available exclusively through the Official Meka Nism Merch Store and on CD Baby as a Digital Download only.

The album was previously released back in January of 2007 and featured the hits "Bedlam" and "Break", which ended up being named the "Best Experimental Song" by the SSA in 2006. Here is the original album notes:

"Ms. Meka Nism is known in underground circuits for her work with former American bands and touring projects “Dirty Barby” (playing NYC’s historical CBGB’s!), “Angel Autopsy,” “ Apocalypse-a-go-go” and “Meka Nism and her Rusty Tears,” as guitarist, vocalist, and insane performance artist. Endorseded by Dean Guitars, she is recognized for creating the rare “Acoustic Death Metal” genre, playing with such bands as Trivium, Chimaira, Nocturne and Faun Fables. In 2007, she released the album “Mad to Love” from Florida Indie label Hidden Records. The album’s feature song “Break” was awarded Best Experimental Song by the SSA."

Metal Nexus Adds Meka Nism to 2017's "Most Anticipated Albums" List

What a way to start off the new year! 

Meka Nism was recently added to the list of 2017's Most Anticipated Albums by MetalNexus.net. The band is extremely excited and looks forward to what the new year holds. Everyone has been in the studio since last December going over ideas and new material for the upcoming EP.

It is with great excitement that we announce Meka Nism has been named Orlando's #1 Metal Band for 2016 by The Orlando Weekly. Coming in second last year and third the year before, the band has finally reached the top of the mountain. The band is extremely grateful for all of the friends, family, and fans that voted them to the #1 position.

As lead singer, Meka, has stated, "This is an incredible achievement and something we've been working very hard for. We couldn't have done it without all of our tribe members, so this one is for all of you! We love you all so much!"

MEKA NISM RELEASE LIVE CD

Freshly back from the Winter Tour of 2015 with multi-platinum band, Trapt, Meka Nism is proud to announce the release of their first LIVE CD, entitled 'Meka Nism: Live from the Machine Shop'. THE SHIFT BEST OF 2015 LISTS!

2015 has been the year of "The Shift". The glorious EP from Meka Nism has been raking in numerous credentials since the Winter Tour. Unrated Music Magazine has named 'The Shift' one of the Top 34 Albums of 2015. It was named to the Top 5 Albums, hitting the #2 spot, by Unrated Entertainment Magazine, beating out Halestorm and just behind In This Moment. The single "From Out of Nowhere" was also selected to the Best of 2015 list from From the Depths Entertainment.

2015 WINTER TOUR ANNOUNCED WITH TRAPT

Meka Nism has officially announced a short 15 date winter tour with the band Trapt to close out 2015. The tour will be starting in Little Rock, Arkansas, on December 4th and will go throughout the mid-west and into the east coast.
